- The product offered is a solvent based formulation, which is mix of ethanol & derivatives, wetting agent and anti-static agents.
- It is easy to use product, available in aerosol bottles and is supplied with good quality micro fibre cloths.
- Dust and dirt gets deposited on the CR phosphor plates, which results into artifacts. To avoid deterioration of image quality, it is highly recommended to clean plates at regular intervals.
- Use of cleaner will enhance life of a CR plates and will yield better quality of image.
- CR phosphor plates are moisture sensitive. In case of plates being moistened or cleaned with water or water based cleaners, there are possibilities of loss in plate speed as well image quality problems.
- The product is suitable for use with CR imaging plates only and should not be used for any other conventional plates.
- Plates should be cleaned at least once a month. If dots or artifacts are observed in the Xray image, plate needs to be cleaned.
- It is furthermore recommended to clean the interior of cassettes to avoid transfer of dirt or dust to the plate.
